The passing of Karen C. Arens of Waverly, Iowa, born in Waterloo, Iowa leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 8, 2024 at the age of 90. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Wayne and Margaret Jane Lewis (Goodwin); her husband James Arens; her daughters, Nicki Jo Habenicht and Cheryl Strohbehn; and her sister Alicia JoAnn.
She is survived by: her sons, Steve Habenicht (Dalette) and David Habenicht; and her grandchildren, Casey Wente, Derrick Hatchell, Elissa Block (Jamie), April Bender (Dave), Ryan Abbas, Cory Habenicht (Melissa), Jamie Habenicht and Lilly Leadley. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to the Bartels Chaplaincy Fund or to Cedar Valley Hospice.
