She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Marie Gielau (Happel) and Albert Gielau; her parents-in-law, Phillip and Marvel Lee; her sister Sharon Gielau; her grandsons, Kaden and Kullen Mellmann; her nephew Zachary Tribon; and her niece Laura Tribon.
She is survived by: her husband Keith Lee of John's Lutheran Church; her children, Jason Lee (Crystal) of Ankeny, IA, Lisa Mellmann (Justin) of Storm Lake, IA, Heather Nilles (Scott) of Verona, WI and Rhonda Harmening (Kyle) of Johnston, IA; her siblings, Alan Gielau (Sharon) of Waverly, Randy Gielau of Ithaca, NY, Wesley Gielau (Barb) of Denver, IA, Robert Gielau (Cheryl) of Delano, MN and Vicky Tribon (Frank) of Harmony, MN; her siblings-in-law, Dean Lee (Sandy) of Waverly, IA and Lu Evans (Jack) of Vista, CA; and her grandchildren, Derek, Ellis Lee of Ankeny, IA, Joselyn, Kinley, Kamden Mellmann of Storm Lake, IA, Theodric and Bryson Nilles of Verona, WI. She is also survived by 14 nephews and nieces.
