It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold William Barkhausen of Waverly, Iowa, who passed away on April 11, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mortiz Barkhausen and Alma Barkhausen (Jung); his stepsons, Robert and Nicholas Rinnels; and his siblings, Robert Barkhausen and Evelyn Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Barkhausen of Waverly; his daughter Natasha Barkhausen (Ryan Shadman) of Waverly; his stepdaughter Jacqueline Wilson (Denny) of Evansdale; his grandchildren, Nicole Staudt (Cole), Lorissa Hinz (Kelby), Danile Wilson, Robert Rinnels (Sami), Tyler Rinnels (Erica) and Ashley Nolte; and his daughter-in-law Mildred Rinnels of Waucoma. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
