It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Floyd Iversen of Waverly, Iowa, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on March 18, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Iversen and Annie Iversen (Lamb); his sons, Christopher (Kay) and Michael; his former wife Joanne Schleusner; his siblings-in-law, Frank and Ruth Schleusner; his niece Shelley; and his siblings, Anna Mae, James, John, Lawrence "Bud", Edward and William.
He is survived by: his son Kevin (Mary); his wife Clara Heilskov; his daughter-in-law Sandy; his grandsons, Michael (Amy), Zachary (Katlyn), Mathew and Corey; his great grandchildren, Avery and Sutton; his sister Alice Thompson (Merlyn); his siblings-in-law, Ron Schleusner and Jackie Jorgenson (Roger); his stepdaughters, Julie, Becky and Jodie; his stepgrandchildren, Ashley (Steve), Emily (Jackson), Sydney, Kyle (Marissa), Sami, Karn, Kylie, Amanda Raymond-Resendiz (Luis), Christopher Ferrie, Kimberly Ferrie, Olivia Ferrie and Johnathon Ferrie; and his nephews, Tim Reiners, Tony Reiners, Travis Schleusner, Fred Reiners and Keith Coates. He is also survived by 8 step great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be directed in Harold's name to St. Mary's Church, Unity Point Hospice or Waverly Area Veterans Post.
