She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Lageschulte and Alice Lageschulte (Koenig); her siblings, Wendell Lageschulte, Harold Lageschulte, Paul Lageschulte and Ruth Smith; her siblings-in-law, Don Boyken, Dale Smith, Betty Lageschulte and Marcella Lageschulte; and her daughter-in-law Joanne Carolus.
She is survived by: her husband Harvey H. Carolus of Shell Rock; her sons, Gordon Carolus (Dianne Nagen) of Waverly and Duane Carolus (Martha) of Bellevue; her siblings, Roger Lageschulte (Lee) of Seattle and Evelyn Boyken of Mason City; and her sister-in-law Frances Lageschulte of Waverly. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren.
