It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys J. Elliott (Waverly, Iowa), born in New Hartford, Iowa, who passed away on December 9, 2018, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Rittgers and Esther Rittgers (Ballhagen); her spouse Calvin K. "Bud" Elliott; her brothers, Eugene Rittgers and Merle Rittgers; and her son-in-law James Carlock.
She is survived by: her children, Andrea Carlock of Waterloo, Brenda Steenhard (Danny) of New Hampton, Iowa and Barton M. Elliott (Barbara) of Sugar Mountain; and her siblings, Ralph Rittgers (Arlene) of Nevis, Donald Rittgers (Frances) of Shell Rock, Charlotte of New Hartford, Elizabeth of New Hartford and Ardith Rittgers of New Hartford. She is also survived by six grandchildren; four step grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; six step great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren.
