With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George Gerald Roose (Waverly, Iowa), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 4, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Lois Roose (Berg); his parents, George G. Roose and Mary Roose (Frerichs); and his siblings, Viola, Stanley, Marion, Lyle, Donald and Daniel.
He is survived by: his children, George Daniel Roose (Terri), Mitchell Jay Roose (Lori), Mary Georgann (Roose) and Robert Aaron Roose (Jane); his grandchildren, Tabitha DeWitt, Kyle Schueler (Amanda), Heather Allan (Wesley), Rachel Roose, Nicholas Nesbitt, Meredith Nesbitt, George Andrew Roose, Samuel Roose and Luke Roose; and his great grandchildren, Chloe DeWitt, Nora, Gabi Schueler, George and Winslow Allan.
Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice or Community Nursing Home in Clarksville.
