He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Vette and Irene Vette (Zubrod); and his son-in-law Doug Cannegieter. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Poppe of Shell Rock; his children, Cindy Jones (Doug) of Fernald, Jana Cannegieter of Waverly and Brett Vette (Robin) of Waverly; his grandchildren, Colin, Dana, Evan, Emily, Chelsea, Ryan, Clayton, Erin, Thea, Doug and Cora; and his siblings, Diane (Larry), Susan (Charles) and Lloyd (LeAnn). He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
