It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Evelyn Wedeking (Waverly, Iowa), born in Maynard, Iowa, who passed away on January 5, 2019, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Lauren Wedeking; her daughter Barbara Johnson; her brother Delbert Meyer; and her son-in-law Richard McVey. She is survived by: her daughters, Dianne McVey of Tucson and Sylvia Grote (Allen) of Janesville, Iowa; and her son-in-law Dennis Johnson of Arkansas. She is also survived by three grandchildren; a step-grandchild; seven great-grandchildren; and several step-great-grandchildren.
