She was predeceased by: her parents, Moritz Barkhausen and Alma Barkhausen (Jung); her husband Bernard Smith; and her siblings, Robert Barkhausen and Marion.
She is survived by: her children, Annette Weih (Kirk) of Mount Vernon, Terry Quigley (David) of Shell Rock, Patricia Wayne of Janesville, Michael Smith (Jody) of Waverly and Peggy Brase (Ross) of Waverly; her brother Harold Barkhausen (Betty); and her sister-in-law Nancy Liebsch. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
