He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Bergmann and Lillian Bergmann (Ohmann); and his brother LaVerne Bergmann. He is survived by: his wife Karen Bergmann of Waverly; his children, Amy Hurley of Maple Grove and Darin Bergmann (Billie) of Urbandale; his grandchildren, Michael Hurley, Benjamin Hurley, Trevin, Calvin and Kylie Bergmann; his sisters, Marlys Fischels (Norm) of Independence and Donna Hulsing (Don) of Waverly; his brother-in-law Roger Brettmann (Marian) of Denver; and also Sarah Gregory of Green Bay.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Donor Network or Gift of Life House, Mayo Clinics, Rochester, Minnesota.
