She is survived by: her children, Marilyn Norton of St. Paul, MN, Barbara Hanawalt (Mark) of Waverly, IA and Gregory Norton of Oklahoma City, OK; her grandchildren, Melany Boughman (Robb) of Edmond, OK, Michael Hanawalt (Justine Sasanfar) of Tallahassee, FL, Matthew Hanawalt (Brenda Aguilar) of Busan, David Hanawalt (Zara) of Pittsburg, PA and Daniel Hanawalt (Julie) of Waverly, IA; and her sister Marjorie Natvig (Richard) of New Hampton, IA. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
