He is survived by: his wife LaVone Puterbaugh; his children, Diane Rommel (Jeff) of Waverly, Iowa, Todd Meinen (Ruth) of Carmel and David Meinen (Catherine) of Hampton; his grandchildren, Nicole Rommel, Nathan Rommel, Melissa Rommel, Jacob Rommel (Bethany), David Meinen, Dana Meinen, Camden Meinen and Hannah Meinen; his great grandchildren, Seth and Aiden; his sister-in-law JoAnn Puterbaugh of Peoria; and his nephew James Meinen of Katy, Texas..
