He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Brown and Inger Brown (Hansen); his wives, Frances Virginia Pearson and Alene Luder (Piland); his siblings, Harold, Anna Vernita and Stan; and his granddaughter Brenda Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Dennis (Kay) of Frederika, Iowa, Kenneth (Ranee) of Waverly, Iowa and Donna Baker (Dave) of Woodbury, Minnesota; and his great grandchildren, Jill Backus (Matt), Zeke, Zemirah, Zivah of Missouri, Julie Faust (Brian), Jacob, Hannah of Wisconsin, Mark Brown (Meredith), Grace, Rosie of Waverly, Cody Brown of Waverly, Kristofer Brown (Spring) of Washington, Matt Baker (Maja), Zoe, Miles of Minnesota, Melissa Baker, Devan and Damon of Minnesota. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
