She was predeceased by: her parents, Ehme Rinnels and Jennie Rinnels (Eckhoff); her husband Clarence T. Benning; her daughter Carla Myers; her daughter-in-law Jane Benning; and her siblings, Harley, Marvin, John, Simon, Bob, Jerry, Larry, Gary, Heneritta, June and Judy.
She is survived by: her children, Dianne Barnett (Mike) of Clarksville, Iowa, Mary Wedeking (Dale) of Plainfield and Michael Benning (Mary Sue) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; her siblings, Alice, Jane and Donald; and her son-in-law Dan Myers of Sioux City. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, and 31 great grandchildren.
