She was predeceased by: her mother Shirley Alice Smith (Weston); and her sister Sherry Smith. She is survived by: her father Richard Nelson Smith of Manchester, IA; her husband Dale Paul Brandt; her daughter Shanna Snitker (Andy) of Cedar Falls, IA; her grandsons, Arthur and Jack Snitker; her siblings, David Smith (Jodie) of Hiawatha, IA, Darren Smith (Sabrina) of Overland Park, KS and Stephanie Reineck (Mike) of Hudson, WI; and her brothers-in-law, Dennis Brandt (Carla) of Denver, IA, David Brandt (Barbara) of Urbandale, IA and Donald Brandt (Claudette) of Cedar Falls, IA. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Good Shepherd Chapel-Bartels (1922 5th Ave NW, Waverly, IA 50677). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
