She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert F. Nordman and Julia Anna Nordman (Shallock); her husband Lyle Engel; her daughter Carol Gill; her granddaughter Brenda Gill; her great grandchildren, Isaac and Tyler Brase; and her son-in-law Paul D'Eliseo.
She is survived by: her children, Janice Mulder (Norm) of Shell Rock, Lorie Henning (Ken) of Shell Rock, Kathleen D'Eliseo of Waverly, Lee Engel (Jenice) of Clarksville and Glenn Engel (Sanae) of Fishers, Indiana; and her son-in-law Steve Gill (Linda) of Denver, Iowa. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren.
