It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charlotte Louise Engel of Waverly, Iowa, born in Clarksville, Iowa, who passed away on April 14, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert F. Nordman and Julia Anna Nordman (Shallock); her husband Lyle Engel; her daughter Carol Gill; her granddaughter Brenda Gill; her great grandchildren, Isaac and Tyler Brase; and her son-in-law Paul D'Eliseo.

She is survived by: her children, Janice Mulder (Norm) of Shell Rock, Lorie Henning (Ken) of Shell Rock, Kathleen D'Eliseo of Waverly, Lee Engel (Jenice) of Clarksville and Glenn Engel (Sanae) of Fishers, Indiana; and her son-in-law Steve Gill (Linda) of Denver, Iowa. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren.
