As Carolyn Arlene departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Carolyn Arlene may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Carolyn Arlene leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her father Oliver Johnson; and her brother-in-law Jeff Goihl. She is survived by: her mother Grace Johnson; her siblings, Annette Goihl of Minneapolis and Keith Johnson (LeAnn) of Clarion, Iowa; her nieces, Alexandra Johnson of Ankeny Iowa and Samantha Lizer of Rutland, Iowa; and her great-niece Esley.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (2700 Horton Rd, Waverly, IA 50677). A rosary will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Sidewalk Advocates for Life, Marians of the Immaculate Conception or the Wounded Warrior Project.
