He is survived by: his wife Lois Westervelt of Waverly, IA; his children, Dennis Westervelt (Janice) of Dubuque, IA, Rick Westervelt (Penny) of Mora, MN, Carolyn Mashek of Waterloo, IA, Mary Swehla (Dale) of Venice, FL and Twila Bobst (Jeff) of Waverly, IA; and his sister Margaret Greimann of Des Moines, IA.. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren.
