She was predeceased by: her parents, Lorenz Koelling and Bertha Koelling (Foelske) of Denver; her children, Pat Sauerbrei and Mark Young; her siblings, Arlen Koelling and LaVonne Bast (Wayne); her brother-in-law Larry Boomer; and her parents-in-law, Jesse and Ruth Young.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Young of Waverly; her sons, Mike Young (Jo) and Kevin Young (Carol); her son-in-law Woody Sauerbrei (Cheryl) of Waverly; her grandchildren, Pete Sauerbrei (Leslie) of Apex, NC, Ben Sauerbrei of Waverly, Randi Young of Cedar Falls, David Young of Scottsdale, AZ, Meredith Tipping (Conner) of Altoona, IA and Grant Young (Hanna) of Ames, IA; her great grandchildren, Andy, Brian, Cole Sauerbrei, Emma, Ellie Young and Benjamin Tipping; her brother Harlen Koelling (Marilyn) of Waverly; and her siblings-in-law, Jeanette Koelling of Florida, Darrel Young (Pat) of Shell Rock and Linda Boomer of St. Louis, MO. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
