She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Hartman and Elda Hartman (Walther); her husband Roland Lau; her son Curtis Lau; her brother Jim Hartman; and her parent-in-law Marlyn Meyer (Raymond).

She is survived by: her children, Joan Lau (Lowell Lindsay) of Ariss and David Lau (Dawn) of Denver; her daughter-in-law Christy Lau-Jameson (Tim) of Burlington; her grandson Parker Lau of Burlington; her sisters, Bonnie Drape of Waverly and Mary Runyan (Marv) of Verndale; and her sisters-in-law, Wilma Hartman of Sumner, Lois Meyer (Wendell) of Northwood, Verdine Keding of Fayette and Carol Lau (Bob) of Lakewood, California..

Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family will not be having a public service at this time, a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be directed to St. John Lutheran Church-Maxfield.
