With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernice Irene Kappmeyer of Waverly, Iowa, who passed away on November 5, 2021 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilhelm Buls and Maria Buls (Malzhan); her husband Erwin Kappmeyer; and her siblings, Eva Miller, Lawrence and Edwin Buls.

She is survived by: her children, Karlton Kappmeyer (Pauline) of Waverly, Aundrea Schrupp of Watertown, Kelvin Kappmeyer (Chris) of Waverly and Kenneth Kappmeyer (Nancy) of Waverly; and her sister-in-law Bernice Buls of Denver, Iowa. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.
