She was predeceased by: her parents, Margarete Ludwig (Becker) and Adolf Ludwig. She is survived by: her spouse Gottlieb Siewert; her son Roger Siewert of Waverly; and her brother Werner Ludwig of Germany. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Anita was a very talented knitter and passionately donated over 200 knitted blankets to hospice.
