He was predeceased by: his parents, Vaughn Conklin and Effie Conklin (Dietz); his wife Elizabeth Mangino; and his siblings, Marie Rohwedder, James and Albert Conklin.
He is survived by: his son Jeffery Conklin (Jennifer) of Fairfax Station, Virginia; his grandchildren, Abigail and Ethan; and his sister Betty DeNeui of Waverly.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home (218 2nd St SE, Waverly, IA 50677).
