With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alvin Bahlmann (Waverly, Iowa), who passed away on March 24, 2018 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Jeannette; and his brother Carl Bahlmann. He is survived by: his children, Craig Bahlmann (Micky) of Waverly, Lynnette Schreen (Steve) of Clarksville and Bruce Bahlmann of Manhattan; his grandchildren, Ben Schreen, Nelson Schreen, Abigail Bahlmann, Bryan Bahlmann, Elizabeth Bahlmann, James Bahlmann, Morgan Combs (Tim), Alex Kingery, Michael Kingery, Bret Ballantine and Brittany Ballantine; his siblings, Edgar Bahlmann (Rosie) of Waverly, Eleanor Stumme (Larry) of Denver and Esther Bahlmann of Iowa City; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Bahlmann of Forest City.
