The memory of Alice Ann Brown of Waverly, Iowa, born in Lovilia, Iowa, who passed away on September 22, 2024 at the age of 89, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Alice Ann may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Alice Ann touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Huxford and Elberta Kennedy; her siblings, Jean Kleinman and Roy Huxford; and her husband Wayne L. Brown of Paul's Lutheran Church.
She is survived by: her children, Shelley Campbell (Jim) of Parkersburg, Cecil Brown (Lisa) of Wichita, Kansas and Mike Brown (Denise) of Waverly. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and eighteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, September 26th 2024 at 9:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home (218 2nd St SE, Waverly, IA 50677).
