He is survived by: his significant other Jane Miene of Waukon; his significant other's children, Vickie Miene of Iowa City, IA, Scott Miene (Maria) of Waukon and Karrie Zidlicky (Don) of Decorah, IA; his grandchildren, Colin, Carter, Cody Zidlicky, Lynn Unsen (John), Cheena Etzel, Isabel and Dylan Miene; his great grandchildren, Ben Miene, Davis, Anderson Unsen, Josh and Connor Miene; and his sisters, Lorraine Pape of West Union, Karen Kohls (Kenneth) of Clermont and Dorene Peyton (Dean) of Calmar, IA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
