She is survived by: her husband James A. Downing of Amelia, VA; her children, Christina Downing of Aylett, VA and James R. Downing (Joanna) of Waukon; her grandchildren, Moriah, Miriam, James, Melea, Robert, Micaiah and John; her sister Dolores Smith of Tazewell, VA; and also, Dallas Neel of Farmville, VA and Jerry Neel (Sandra) of Darlington, SC.. She is also survived by seven children.
