He was predeceased by: his parents, Tade Haas and Elsie Haas (Ferring); his wife Ruth Hanson; his sister Leonita Bresnahan; and his grandson Brian Haas.
He is survived by: his children, Ted Haas (Dianne) of Ottumwa, IA, Mary Finnegan (Mike) of Independence, IA, Carol Decker (Gayle) of Waukon, IA, Tom Haas (Annette) of Iowa City, IA, Julie Snitker (Mike) of Waukon, IA and Christine Murphy (John) of Osceola, IN; and his sister Anna Mae Ryan (Paul) of Oelwein, IA. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren: 26 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in remembrance of Vince to St. Patrick's Parish Renovation Fund or Good Samaritan Center.
