With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Baxter (Waukon, Iowa), who passed away on June 9, 2020 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas and Marjorie Ann Baxter (Slattery); his sisters, Peg Knight and Nancy; and his brother-in-law Roger Lewis.
He is survived by: his wife Beth; his children, Betsy of Waukon, Brian (Laura) of Waukon, Kelly Baxter of Waukon and Carrie Welch (Mike) of Waukon; his grandchildren, Lucy, Ruby Welch, Jacob, Miley and Maddie Baxter; his siblings, Sue Bechen (Sam) of Dubuque, IA, Tony Baxter (Mary) of Waukon, Ann Kunkel (Mitch) of Solon, IA, Mike Baxter (Kris) of Colorado Springs, CO, Katie Weipert (Jerry) of Waukon, Jim Baxter (Charlene) of Waukon, Jerry Baxter of Waukon, Linda Fehr (Terry) of Newton, IA and Barb Vitense (Ray) of Tipton, IA; his brother-in-law Tony Knight of Iowa City; and also, Helen Hill (George) of La Crescent, MN, Jean Stokman (Karl) of Eitzen, MN and Barbara Droivold of Spring Grove, MN. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In consideration of concerns regarding Covid-19, social distancing and wearing of masks will be observed at the church during both the visitation and funeral mass.
