He is survived by: his parents, Gary Gelo and Gloria Gelo (Heins) of Waukon; his son Seth of Cedar Rapids; his siblings, Jeff Gelo of Waukon, Jean Gelo of Waukon, Lisa Pakkebier (Curt) of Cedar Rapids and Dave Gelo (Kirstin) of Prairie; and his nieces and nephews, Reid, Cade Pakkebier, Tristin, Aspen Gelo, Heather Jones, Nick Winter and Ashley Ryan.
