Sharon Hageman Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Hageman of Waukon, Iowa, who passed away on May 2, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, D. Clair Palmer and Viola Louise Palmer (Tieskotter); her daughter Jennifer; her husband Roman; her grandson Jonah Hageman; her siblings, David Palmer and Lois Matter; her parents-in-law, John T. and Elizabeth Hageman; and her siblings-in-law, Agnes Bottema, Rita Menne, Ida Hageman, Diane Hageman, Joe Menne, Theodore Hageman, Leo Hageman and Richard Matter.
She is survived by: her children, Janice Berg (Charles) of Waukon, John Hageman (Deana) of Decorah and Julie Hageman Bell (Dave) of Waukon; her siblings, Mary Ellen Farley (Paul) of Waukon, Linda Johnson (Gerry) of Decorah, Daryl Palmer (Dorothy), Jim Palmer (Alice) of Castalia, IA, Harlan Palmer (Diane) of Burr Oak, IA and Kevin Palmer (Sharon Phinney) of Shelton, WA; and her nephew Lincoln Matter. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to WinnMed Hospice in Decorah or to Freeport Cemetery.
