It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ricke Stan Starkey (Waukon, Iowa), born in Postville, Iowa, who passed away on November 16, 2019, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Starkey and Beulah Starkey (Bray); his brothers, Lynn and Bradley Starkey (Kim); his parents-in-law, James and Dorothy Hinman; and his brothers-in-law, Ralph Dougherty and Dale Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Starkey of Waukon; his siblings, Jerry Starkey, Sr. (Dixie) of Dubuque, IA, Marilyn Meyer of Castalia, Beverly Johnson of Waukon and Janice Dougherty of Waukon; and his sisters-in-law, Kim Hinman and Crystal. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
