It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rae Joan Beardmore (Waukon, Iowa), born in Wahpeton, North Dakota, who passed away on November 30, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harriet Gene (Glasgow) and George William Holthusen; her husband Glenn; her son John; her sister Barbara Peterson (Bill); and her sister-in-law Helen Mohwinkle (Delton).
She is survived by: her children, George (Helen) of Dorchester, Barb White (Larry) of Waukon, Joan Malm (Steve) of South Bend, IN and Jim (Becky) of Caledonia, MN; her grandchildren, Christopher, Courtney Beardmore, Dana Johnston (Joe), Rob, Jared White, Kirsten Malm (Mark Roche), Steven Malm, Ali, Taylor, Jack, Josh Beardmore, Regan Sweeney (Justin) and Ryan Berns (Amanda); her great grandchildren, Lexi, Nolan, Franklin, Alex, Juliana, Oliver, Madison, Chase, Stella, Scarlet and Evelyn; and her sisters-in-law, Mae Gustin, Jane Schoh (Leon) and Ruby Herman (Nyles). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
