It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nyles Elmer Herman of Waukon, Iowa, who passed away on June 23, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Herman and Mary Herman (Grotegut); his siblings, Ruben Herman (Helen), Marian Jenkins (Hanley) and Vernell Esch; and his siblings-in-law, Helen Mohwinkle (Delton), Glen Beardmore (Rae) and Willard Gustin.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Beardmore of Waukon; his children, Brad Herman (Judy) of Waukon, Kim Winters (Ron) of Waterville, IA, Brent Herman of Waukon and Brian Herman (Michelle) of Waukon; his daughter-in-law Pam Herman of Lansing, IA; his grandchildren, Natalie Rasmussen (Bret), Chad Winters (Sara), Angela Larson (Judd), Kristyna Herman (Devin Kass), Justyn Herman (Gabrielle Cowie), Vannessa Herman (Justin Breese), Felicia Lickteig (Clinton), Travis Herman, Breanne Bernau (Travis), Trevor Herman (Kylie) and Alexa Dixon (Kramer); and his siblings-in-law, Jan Esch of Strawberry Point, IA, Mae Gustin of Blair, NE and Jane Schoh (Leon) of Waukon. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
Due to the COVID- 19 pandemic, PRIVATE FAMILY FUNERAL SERVICES will be held Monday, June 29th, at 11:00 AM at Zalmona Presbyterian Church in rural Waukon with Pastor Tim Rupert and Pastor Tom Buresh officiating.
