It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merlin Hansmeier (Waukon, Iowa), who passed away on September 13, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hansmeier and Helen Hansmeier (Adam); his wife Lorna Mae Leubka; and his son-in-law Clinton Schnuelle. He is survived by: his children, Beverly Schnuelle of Castalia, IA and Wayne Hansmeier of Protivin, IA; and his grandchildren, Michelle Engelhardt (Mike), Todd, Jonathan Schnuelle (Abby), Jeremy (Denise), Misty, Josh, Jessie, Chase and Ty Hansmeier. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
