He was predeceased by: his parents, William Haskovec and Alice Haskovec (Roman); his parents-in-law, Richard and Evelyn Briden; his brothers-in-law, David Briden, Floyd, Don Mooney and Robert Vasey; and his cousin Rob Roman.
He is survived by: his children, Melena Urbanowski (Jesse) of Cedar Rapids, IA, Elizabeth Haskovec of Milwaukee, WI and William Haskovec (Ashley) of Urbandale, IA; his grandsons, William, James Urbanowski and Briden Haskovec; his brother Gerald Haskovec of Cresco, IA; his sisters-in-law, Jane Briden, Deloris Vasey, Joan, Marilyn Mooney, Ada Sizemore and Arlis Mabe; and his aunt Merle Hedeen. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon, Crossing Rivers Hospice in Prairie du Chien, or to the Allamakee Scholarship Fund.
