It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mavis Mitchell (Waukon, Iowa), born in Decorah, Iowa, who passed away on November 27, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Orlando Otteson and Helen Otteson (Overacker); and her siblings, Esther Houck and Merton Otteson (Dale). She is survived by: her husband Darrell D. Mitchell of Monona; her children, Myron Cronin (Diane) of La Crescent, MN, Virginia Gilbertson (Kerry) of Rossville and Randy Cronin (Kimberly) of Rossville; her grandchildren, Catherine Weipert, Xevier, Jesse, Cody, Stephanie and David Cronin; and her great grandchildren, Austin, Allen Ludeking, Kelsey Weipert and Isaac Cronin.
