She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerald Runice and Irene Runice (Erickson); her husband Alvin Hanson; her brothers, Wayne, Verdell and John Runice; her granddaughter Jamie Mezera; and her brothers-in-law, James Peterson and Charlie Waters.
She is survived by: her children, Denise Wullner (Brian) of Waukon, Janet Mezera (Jeff) of Prairie du Chien, WI, Jeff Hanson of Waukon and Debra Pladsen (John) of Chanhassen, MN; her grandchildren, Sarah Rosonke (Caleb), Justin Mezera (Miranda), Jordan Mezera, Donny, Kevin, Joey, Ethan, Emily Hanson, Katie and Will Pladsen; her great grandchildren, Breqlynn, Caylee and Reya Mezera; her siblings, Jerrilynne "Dana" Waters, Alma Robertson (Gary), Beatrice Peterson and Mardele Moore (Remi); and her sister-in-law Ellen Runice. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
