It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorraine Kathryn Adam of Waukon, Iowa, who passed away on July 16, 2020, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lorraine Kathryn Adam to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James L. Welch and Mary Welch (Sweeney); her husband Leonard John Adam; and her brothers, Clem, James (Joan), Ambrose (Phyllis) and Ralph (JoAnn).
She is survived by: her children, Maureen Mahoney of Waukon, Marilyn Adam (Ralph Tauke) of Stoddard, WI, John Adam (Lois) of Waukon, Jim Adam (Linda) of Waukon and Bill Adam (Cheryl) of Waukon; and her sister-in-law Leona Welsh of La Crosse, WI. She is also survived by many grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
Due to the COVID- 19 pandemic, PRIVATE FAMILY FUNERAL SERVICES will be at Martin-Grau Funeral Home in Waukon with burial at St. Mary's Lycurgus Cemetery, rural Waukon.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be sent to Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon and condolences may be sent to Maureen Mahoney at 203 1st Avenue NW Waukon, IA 52172.
