She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Raymond, Mary Hildebrand, Charles and Eugenia Sass; and her father-in-law Donald Lyon.
She is survived by: her husband Allen D. Lyon; her children, Amanda Horne (Michael) of Cedar Rapids, IA, Matthew Lyon of Prescott, AZ and Noah (Emily Opfer) of Coralville, IA; her granddaughter Isla Horne; her parents, Lester Sass and Lockie Sass of Waukon; her brother Lester Sass, Jr. (Anne) of West Union, IA; and her mother-in-law Carol Lyon of Waukon. She is also survived by her niece and nephews.
