He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lyle and Leona Lough (Klug); his daughter Kimberly Wilhelm; his brother Russell Lough; his siblings-in-law, Rocky Ford, Margaret "Peggy" Krambeer and Linda Kirkeby; and his parents-in-law, Daniel and Ella Mae Gramlich.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria of Waukon; his sons, Tim Lough of Waukon and Bill Lough of Waukon; his son-in-law Chris Wilhelm (Jodi) of Decorah, IA; his grandchildren, Brandon Lough, Courtney Otting (Marc) and Dylan Wilhem; his siblings, Richard Lough (Nellie) of Mason City, IA, Karen Sabin (Roger) of Estherville, IA and Connie Ford of Prairie; his brothers-in-law, Dennis Krambeer, Wayne Kirkeby, Jerry "Butch" Gramlich (Mary) and Bob Gramlich (Diane); and his nephews, Todd (Nate Lough), Bryan Gramlich, Danny Kirkeby, Jeff (Rick Gramlich) and Tony (Alex Krambeer). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
