It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kathleen Saewert of Waukon, Iowa, born in Cheyenne, Wyoming, who passed away on February 11, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Joseph and Marie Lavaun Kelly (Kelly); her husband Willis Carl Saewert Sr.; her stepfather Norris Johnson; her sister Theresa Leikvold; her stepbrother Walter Johnson; and her siblings-in-law, Beverly Kelly, Lloyd Leikvold and Bill Slaughter.
She is survived by: her children, Dawn Herrick (John) of Boyd, WI and Willis "Bill" Jr. (Dawn Roese) of Waukon; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Saewert (Carleton Grasty) of Woodbury, MN, Marie Chase (Donny) of Dorchester, IA, Louissa of Minneapolis, MN, Kristen Schultz of Minneapolis, MN, Samantha Kramschuster (Travis) of Boyd, WI, Mike of Boyd, WI and Matt Herrick of Boyd, WI; her great grandchildren, Raina Chase (Ethan Atkinson), Lydia Chase, Annelysse, Emilee, Cooper and Cannon Kramschuster; and her siblings, John Kelly of Spring Grove, IL, Margaret Slaughter (Pamela Croyle) and Lorraine Johnson of Waukon. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
