It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karlton Gruel of Waukon, Iowa, who passed away on August 23, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Gruel and Amanda Gruel (Luebke); and his brothers, Darwin and Larry. He is survived by: his sons, Kane and Sam; his sister-in-law Sue Peterson; and his cousins, Ronnie Jahnke (Marilyn) and Stan Grotegut.
