He was predeceased by: his parents, Lynn Charles and Virginia Maxine Halverson (Winter); his brothers, Jay, Scot and Tony Halverson; and his brothers-in-law, Don Hangartner, Dean Bechtel and Arvey Miene.
He is survived by: his wife Julie Miene of Monona; his children, Jackie Halverson (Randy Nesbit) of Waukon, Jodie Manning (Glenn) of Waukon and Jon Halverson (Elizabeth) of Monona; his grandchildren, Brandon Bublitz (Abby), Breanna Sommer (Justin), Hope Manning (Spencer), Makayla Manning, Sabrina Manning (Charlie), Whitney Manning (Zakk), Hayden, Hailey and Harper Halverson; his great grandchildren, Ethan, Evelyn Bublitz, Jerrison and Janessa Sommer; his siblings, Gloria Dertinger, Susan Hangartner, Sherry Bechtel, Bonnie Iseli (Ken), Gail Connor (Jim), Kim Honn (Kevin), June Brandsmeier, Jerry Halverson, Lynn Halverson Jr. (Sally) and Al Halverson (Sandy); and his brother-in-law Richard Miene (Faith). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
