He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ralph and Jean Claire Schon (Peterson). He is survived by: his brother Jeff of Waukon; his nephews, Andrew (Jerica) of Wiggins, CO, Adam of Oelwein, IA and Matthew Schon of Waukon; his niece Scotti Lynn Hagensick (Michael) of Waukon; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ashten, Brantley Schon, Heath, Oliver, Ruth and Stella Hagensick; and his pet Teddy.
