He is survived by: his wife Elaine Davis of Waukon; his children, Gregory Ward (Keeli) of Waukon, Gary Ward (Geralyn) of Robins, IA, Bob Ward (Sherri) of Luana, IA, Deacon Michael Ward (Kris) of Charles City, IA and Mary Halligan (Rick) of Fort Dodge, IA; and his nieces, Susan Hennings (Ken) of Decorah and Nina Van Gorp of Waukon. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Patrick Catholic School.
