She was predeceased by: her fathers, Leonard Steele and Margeretta Steele (Darling); her husband Earl Waters; her grandchildren, Justin and Jessica Waters; her great grandchild Blaine Schumacher; her granddaughter-in-law Chelsea Waters; her daughter-in-law Kelly Waters; her sister LaVonne Palmer; and her brother-in-law Richard Robertson.

She is survived by: her children, Leonard Waters (Wanda) of Newton, IA, Lesa Bulman (Kenny) of Savannah, GA, Luara Necker (Rodney) of Sumner, IA, Larry Waters (Tara) of Soldiers Grove, WI and Loran Waters of Churchtown, IA; her sisters, Kay Vorwald (Curt) of Fairbank, IA and Diane Robertson of Red Wing, MN; and her brother-in-law Roger Palmer of Brandon, IA.. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
