She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Austin and Johanna "Anna" Folsom (Tarrant); her husband Ralph "Philly" Steele; her children, Robert Steele, Ann Kuchenbecker and Margie Walker; her grandchildren, Renee and Eric; her great grandchild Emma; and her siblings, Lester, Cloy, John Folsom, Bernice Stilwell and Myrt Folsom.

She is survived by: her children, Ralph, Jr. Steele (Pat) of Holmen, WI, Ron Steele (Kay) of Wadena, IA, Randy (Theresa) of Roanoke, IN, Ricky Steele (Sheila) of Waukon, Vicki Vick (Mark) of Decorah, IA and Lori Treangen (Dan) of Waukon; and her son-in-law Bob Kuchenbecker of Prairie. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
