He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester George and Ellen Lorine Thiele (Warner). He is survived by: his partner Jerre Henthorn of Waukon; his siblings, Ellen Lee Thiele and Ronald Thiele (Cindy Mensink) of Waukon; his nieces, Stephanie Bjork (Christopher) of Riverside, IA and Samantha Thiele (Kyle Dahl) of Decorah, IA; his great-niece Madison; and his nephew Cole Dahl.
